If your property is a high risk or at risk area for flooding, affordable coverage may be hard to find.

Properties that are considered high risk are located in areas around rivers, streams, lakes and other watercourses. To be considered “flooding” it must come from an outside source like rain or melting snow and other extreme weather conditions. Burst pipes from inside the house are not typically covered by flood insurance.
